Zama American High School, under several different names, has proudly educated children from many different cultures since 1959 and is located approximately 20 miles south of Tokyo in the Kanagawa-Ken prefecture. Flanked by mountains to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east, Zama American High school is located very near some of the most beautiful and interesting historical, cultural, and artistically significant landmarks found in Asia. For these reasons, Zama American High School is an absolutely ideal setting for children to be educated while learning to appreciate and understand the cultural diversity of a modern world.
